Please fill out the form, below, to apply for the ASPIRE high school internship program. ASPIRE is an unpaid internship for rising 11th and 12th graders on-site at JHU APL in Laurel, Maryland. Please review the following guidelines before continuing:

• Applicants must meet ASPIRE's minimum eligibility requirements. You can view those requirements, here.
• Applicants must be available to be in-person at the lab 30-40 hours per week, every week, beginning June 23 and ending when they return to school. ASPIRE does not offer virtual internships, but does offer up to one day per week of remote flexibility. A total of 190 hours must be acheived. 
• Applicants must be available to intern during business hours during the week. Evening hours and weekend hours are prohibited. 
• Applicants must provide their own transit to and from the Lab. 
• Applicants must be available for an in-person orientation June 23-25. 
• Applicants and their parents/guardians must agree to and abide by all ASPIRE policies and review the ASPIRE FAQs. 

The application will open at midnight on January 1, 2026 and close at 11:59pm on February 15, 2026. No applications outside of that window will be accepted. 

Recommenders will have until March 1, 2026 to submit their recommendation forms. No recommendations outside of that window will be accepted.
